Timber Stand Improvement
We are able to safely remove extensive amounts of trees in a timely manor. As for stump removal, we can fell the trees with high stumps to allow for an excavator to rip them out or we offer stump grinding services. We keep up to date in modern felling techniques as well as adhering to the most recent ANSI Z133 standards for safe arboricultural practices.
Invasive species can get out of control quickly if left unchecked. We offer efficient and simple services for clearing overgrown pastures, fence lines, etc. To ensure minimal ground impact, we typically schedule these jobs throughout the year to be completed during the winter months. Because our schedule fills up fast during this season, we recommend booking well in advance. Common invasive species we frequently manage in Iowa include Exotic Bush Honeysuckle, Mulberry, Ailanthus, Cedars, and various weed varieties.
Timber stand improvement is an effective strategy for both avid outdoorsmen and everyday landowners. By selectively cutting undesirable trees, you create space for healthier, more valuable species to thrive. This not only enhances timber value of your property but also improves habitat for wildlife. We regularly complete these projects, however we also can mark trees for you to complete the work yourself.
